Dear Parents

I am delighted to be appointed as the headteacher of Liden Primary and Nursery School and look forward to working with the very dedicated staff and Governor team.

I have found the children to be engaged, kind and very willing to learn. It is my sole ambition to help all children do as well as they can, as I truly believe that inside every child there is greatness. Our job as teachers and parents is to help them achieve their full potential. In addition to this, I aim for all children to leave the school with fond and happy memories, having had exciting learning experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

I value the support of parents in working together with the school to achieve these goals.  I have an open door policy and encourage parents to get in contact with any concern or query, either by phone or through the school office.

Later this term I shall be forming a parent focus group to gain parent’s views on the strengths of the school as well as the areas that can be improved.

In meantime I look forward to this new opportunity as headteacher and being part of this school and its community.
